If you thought Bandai Namco was done with Pokken Tournament, well it seems that they aren’t. The team just released a new trailer that shows a very familiar looking entry into Pokken Tournament‘s roster. As of now the fighting game is currently out for the Wii U and in arcades.
That’s right, another new entry has been revealed, actually I should rephrase that, a Pokemon that’s already in Pokken Tournament will be playable in the game’s roster come November 10th.
Furthermore, a lot of fans were looking forward to other entries like Empoleon, Zoroark, and Greninja. Although this is my personal opinion, why didn’t the devs add basic fighting Pokemon from year one and then add on to that base of familiar Pokemon with out of the box entries?
In addition, it would seem like we would have gotten Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan (or Hitmontop), Manky, Electabuzz, Magmar, and Primape to the list, and/or other Pokemon like Heracross to the list. But instead we get two Pikachus and Croagunk as a call-in and now as a playable fighter.
I know a lot of Croagunk fans will be happy about this, but I think if the Pokemon is already in the game as a call-in wouldn’t it make more sense to add an entry that is not present in the game?
Anyways, you can check out Croagunk in the latest trailer that shows its moves, specials and other aspects of its move-set. The video comes in courtesy of Bandai Namco’s 876TV channel.
For those who are curious what entries came in before the Fighting/Poison type Pokemon, Croagunk, the devs added Scizor and Darkrai to the roster.
lastly, Croagunk is set to debut in the arcade version of Pokken Tournament on November 10th. Pokken Tournament arcade variant and Wii U version is currently out now.
