Cowcat Games’ Demetrios: The Big Cynical Adventure has been announced for the PS Vita. The game came out a while back on PC via Steam after going through the Greenlight phase. The point-and-click adventure game featuring a cynical adventure around the globe will land on Sony’s handheld later this month on November 15th.
The game follows the fat slob Bjorn Thonen. He’s a slacker scrub that lives in Paris, France, and one night he ends up getting robbed but doesn’t really understand what happened or why because he was flatout sloppy drunk when it happened.
Accompanied by his trusty neighbor, Thonen will have to travel around to uncover the mystery behind the robbery and the world-changing conspiracy behind it all. You can check out the first PS Vita trailer for Demetrios below, featuring some of the artwork, dialogue and gameplay.
There are a lot of peeing jokes, popping jokes and toilet humor in the game. In fact, there was so much of it that Cowcat received plenty of complaints about all the toilet humor. Now, he could have done the SJW thing and censor it all, but that would be like taking the buffoonery out of Donald Trump or the Corruption out of Clinton. Why on Earth would anyone vote for Trump without the buffoonery or vote for Clinton without the corruption?
So what Cowcat decided to do is the very thing that most people have been suggesting for game developers to do any time an SJW cries or whines about content: give players the option to turn on SJW mode.
That’s right, Demetrios allows you to turn on or off all the toilet humor that you want. It’s similar to the adult modes or 18+ modes featured in shareware games way back in the day.
You can grab a copy of the game right now for PC from a number of different online digital distributors or learn more by visiting the official website. If you want to get the game on the PlayStation Vita be sure to look for it to go live on the PlayStation Store starting November 15th.
