The great Pepe The Frog with its dank blunt has made its way into Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s Nioh, okay the toad isn’t actually Pepe The Frog, but the “Great Toad” makes an appearance in the stage named “Iga”. Nioh is slated to come out for PS4 in North America on February 7th, February 8th in Europe, and February 9th in Japan.
Koei Tecmo has posted up a live-stream video detailing the “Appearance Copy” system, a new stage called Iga, and a new boss named the Great Toad. If you want to watch a cut down version of the Nioh stream that only shows gameplay you can watch a video by Kirill Yurievna Abanova below. If you want to see the full stream you can visit Koei Tecmo’s channel to see the whole video in its entirety.

Adding on to the video are two pieces of gear that Alpha and Beta players who cleared the demo will receive in the full version of Nioh. Players who beat the Alpha version of the demo will receive the Onryoma Helmet.
Joining the helmet above is the Hinoenma Helmet that is given to those who cleared the Beta version of Nioh’s demo. You can check out an image showing the Hinoenma helmet below.
Koei Tecmo also revealed a system called Appearance Copy that transfers weak/strong equipment that looks cool stats over to your desired preference. In other words you will be able to change your appearance of your current equipment so that you can equip another set while keeping its stats.
If you enjoyed the new stream that the publisher released for Team Ninja’s upcoming game the devs have another live-stream set to debut near the latter part of this year, which will go live on December 20th.
