Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s game Nioh received a new post over on the PlayStation.blog that details what folks will get when pre-ordering the standard and digital deluxe edition. Nioh is set to debut for PS4 on February 7th in North America, February 8th in Europe, and February 9th in Japan.
Although I’m not really into buying special edition or deluxe editions of games when they come out, unless I can find them for a good price, I’ll usually pass and watch gameplay videos to form my opinion on the game. But if you are the type that likes to snag the special version of a game right away, you should be happy to know that Nioh will offer up some exclusive content.
The news surrounding Nioh’s deluxe edition comes from the PlayStation.blog, which Corey Brotherson posted. The images on the site show alternate outfits and how you can obtain the two new pieces of gear.
The first image showing a set of armor inspired by the ancient statues that stand guard across Japan can be obtained by pre-ordering the standard or deluxe edition of Nioh. The second image reveals the Crimson Armor that is based on the legendary Samurai Yukimura Sanada, which can be obtained by pre-ordering or buying the digital deluxe edition of the game in the first two weeks.
The blog site also notes that you can pre-order Nioh by heading on over to the PlayStation Store where they are offering the two editions of the game (standard and digital deluxe) digitally. Additionally the standard edition gives you the full game, while the digital deluxe offers the full game, a weapon pack with five new weapons, PS4 avatar and a Season Pass for the game.
