Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel Releases On Steam December 8th

XSeed Games and Examu have announced that the anime-inspired fighting game, Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel, will drop on Steam starting next month on December 8th. The fighting game originally launched for PS3 and PS4 back in April of this year, featuring various popular manga and anime characters in a crossover combat experience.

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel features pugilists such as Ein, Mora, Ruili, Al Azif, Saya, Ignis, Anna, Muramasa the 3rd, Kibanohara Ethica, and even Saber from the Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night series. There’s even an appearance from the busty and curvacious icon, Super Sonico.

Players will choose their character and then choose two more teammates who they will use to help metastasize their powers through combos and special moves, building up the gauges until their full so they can unleash a super special attack. These attacks are highlighted with anime cinematics in between the match, giving the game a definitively standout look amongst its fighting game rivals.

In fact, you can see what these special moves look like thanks to a compilation put together by YouTuber outlet Gamaholic.

Wow, I have absolutely no idea what the point of Super Sonico’s special was but it didn’t appear to do anything at all. Maybe I missed something?

Anyway, a lot of other useful characters execute some hard-hitting maneuvers that send their opponents crawling for reprieve to catch their breath.

The game itself is similar in play to the Melty Blood and Arcana Hearts series, assuming you like those kind of games. If you wanted something more casual they designed Nitroplus as a game that you could easily pick up and play. It doesn’t require the level of know-how that a game like Guilty Gear requires, nor does it require the study of frame-data like Street Fighter or King of Fighters.

You can grab Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel starting December 8th on Steam, featuring cloud saving, leaderboards, achievements and controller support for $29.99. For more info be sure to visit the official XSeed Games website.
