SD Gundam G Generation Genesis Set To Gain Free DLC

If you are a fan of mechs and Gundams you should be happy to know that Bandai Namco will release free DLC for SD Gundam G Generation Genesis over in Japan. The actual game is set to release later this month on November 22nd across PS4 and PS Vita in Japan, and will get an Asian version with English subtitles.

Those looking for an extended taste of SD Gundam G Generation Genesis and what else it has to offer when it releases will be able to try a free piece of DLC in the coming months, which is set to drop on February 22nd in Japan. The game will also gain an Asian release that will feature subtitles instead of cringe worthy dubs.

Although the DLC won’t release until the next three months it’s nice to see that the downloadable content won’t cost gamers cash just to get more content tacked on to the game, especially for those who really enjoy strategy mecha games.

I should note that this information comes in by the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, which publication site gamestalk.net also covering it in one of their latest post.

According to the Weekly Famitsu and the publication site we learn that the downloadable content (SD Gundam G Generation Original) will bring Halphas Gundam, Halphas Bose Halberd, and Master Phoenix. But that’s not all, the Weekly Famistu also details that four additional Mobile Suit sets will also make an appearance in the game namely Zanny, Psycho-Gundam Mk-III, GM Striker, and Gundam GP02 Physalis.

To be honest I always enjoy free content given to fans who plan on buying a game or who have supported an ongoing series. Free and well made DLC always stands as a nice gift and hopefully more will follow in the future for SD Gundam G Generation Genesis.

As of now SD Gundam G Generation Genesis is set to come out on November 22nd across PS4 and PS Vita in Japan, and will get an Asian version with English subtitles too.
