Clockstone Studio and Headup Games released their bridge constructing stunt sim on the Xbox One. After releasing a year ago for mobile devices, Bridge Constructor Stunts has made its way to Microsoft’s home console.
The game sees players taking their construction kit making skills and putting them to the test as they attempt to build cool stunt tracks and have a variety of trucks to race through the obstacle courses like some sort of K’Nex kit for games. You can check out the trailer below, which gives you an idea of the depth of the kit creation suite and the kind of vehicles that you can use to race across the obstacle courses.
Bridge Constructor Stunts lets you put together tracks based moving parts, various ramp types, and physics-based bridges to cross.
The game has an old-school flair to it where it relies on the creativity and ingenuity of the players instead of force-feeding them any ridiculous sociopolitical nonsense that has become rife enough to ruin a lot of today’s recent AAA titles.
The game is a throwback to fun. You take your wits, your building skills and your construction confidence and you throw together some neat little levels that can stack and deconstruct based on weight, acceleration, momentum and mass.
Much like Trials, players will have to skillfully maneuver each of the trucks through the levels in order to get to the end of each stage. Of course, as evidenced in the trailer above, you’ll have to carefully drive through the ramps, over the bridges and through the obstructions in order to complete the challenge.
This seems like the kind of game that would be fun for the whole family, and it’s a nice little addition to the Xbox One’s ever-growing library of indie games for the holiday season.
