Gravity Rush 2 Gains New 6 Minute Japanese Trailer

There’s a new six minute trailer that Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio has released for gamers to look over. The new video shows some stuff that we’ve seen before in the past, but the video also reveals some new scenes too. Gravity Rush 2 is set to debut for PS4 on January 18th in Europe, January 19th in Japan, and January 20th in North America and UK.

Folks who can’t get enough of Gravity Rush 2, or gamers who are simply looking for a different and new game will find that Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio (SIE Japan Studio) has a new lengthy trailer out for folks to look over.

The new trailer actually stands as a “game content overview”, showing all sorts of features and maneuvers that are (or will be) present in the realm of Gravity Rush 2 when it releases.

In addition to the video, the six-minute trailer shines light on some noteworthy features like its comic book-like cut-scenes, gravity abilities that look pretty cool, the combat, side quests, the new mining mode, online features like racing/time trail, and much more.

At the end of the video folks probably noticed something, right? At the end of the trailer the devs also shared the first snippet of Gravity Rush The Animation: Overture. The half an hour long 3D CG animation by Studio Kahara will stand as a gap filler between Gravity Rush and Gravity Rush 2. Upon purchasing the first-print limited edition of Gravity Rush 2 in Japan gamers will receive a Blu-ray disc containing the anime.

If you are looking forward to picking up Gravity Rush 2, the game is due out on January 18th in Europe, January 19th in Japan, and January 20th in North America and United Kingdom.
