Quote Coming To Steam Early Access Early 2017

Looking for a strange yet interesting game that takes a look at literature and what leaflets can do to people? Developer Vindit seeks to bring gamers an indie title named Quote that explores burning all books to preserve the mind from knowledge and keep it with “pure thought”.

Watching the trailer for this game seems to sneak in familiar art styles that I can’t quite put my finger on at the moment, but it’s unique sense of story telling unveils what the world of Quote is all about through words. The trailer doesn’t spell out everything for you, however the narrator does bring forth various sentences that sound like he’s quoting different books to lay out the game’s premise.

The hand drawn game stands to be an RPG that uses a multi-directional combat system, which through fighting and burning, the story unfolds revealing the true cause behind your actions and the wisdom of your “enemies”.

If the above sounds interesting, and if cleansing the world of all knowledge seems like a good ideal, you can check out the trailer for Quote below.

According to the game’s official description you play as Novella, a priestess of the god of ignorance, bliss, and her mysterious, gluttonous avian sidekick Tatters.

While playing as the protagonist and her sidekick in the isometric adventure game, you will be able to sneak around and find secrets hidden throughout the fragmented past ebbed away by the “source of corrupting wisdom.”

Quote is said to feature over 20 power-ups that allow you to fight with new abilities and unlock special moves so that you can practice your fighting skills in the Infinite Library dungeon creator.

Lastly, if you are a fan of works of authors like Vonnegut, Bradbury, Eco, Huxley, and Hieronymus Bosch, this game is something worth keeping an eye on. For more information on this game that just entered Steam’s Coming Soon page, you can hit up quote-game.com.
