If you want to play as Jyn Orso and Orson Krennic from the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront, then you have to do little more than wait until next Tuesday on December 6th when both characters become available in the online shooter.

EA and DICE let fans know about the availability of the two Rogue One characters via a trailer that showcases their abilities, weapons, and one of the four new maps available in the DLC pack. You can check out the trailer below.

Jyn has access to an uppercut that sends enemies ragdolling into the air, as well as a blaster pistol with high accuracy. Orson has a forcefield to keep blaster fire out and a blaster pistol… because why not? There must have been a discount sale on blaster pistols for DLC characters at the local asset mart.

Anyway, both characters will be hero characters across four new maps featured in Star Wars: Battlefront, one of which includes the map of Scarif, the tropical beach planet that’s featured in the upcoming Rogue One movie.

There isn’t really too much else to say other than that a new bomber vehicle has been added, allowing players to fly around and precision target ground troops. It’s a slight deviation from the aerial-focused, dogfighting vehicles that you get in the other stages.

The walker transports also make a return, giving the Empire a slight advantage over their Rebel foes.

Once more, you can expect to get your hands on the new DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront starting December 6th. They will be available first to season pass holders and will launch at a later date for non-season pass owners. This is all part of EA’s continued initiative to implement more movie-oriented content from Star Wars films into the Battlefront game.
