A new and improved version of the Doom mod based on Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has been released. It’s called Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Doom Remastered and you can download it right now for free.
The ZDoom mod has been pretty popular, and originally came to be way back in 2014 with the first Five Nights at Freddy’s. A second version of the mod was made available based on Scott Cawthon’s Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.
YouTuber Skorne Demon released the latest version of the mod based on Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 as a New Year’s gift for gamers. There’s a 12 minute video posted up on YouTube showcasing the updated graphics, gameplay and bug fixes. You can check it out below.
In the YouTube description he explains exactly what’s been improved, what’s been updated, and what’s been added to the game mod, writing…
“FNAF2 Remaster comes with a HUGE fps increase. More accurate/better models. Better Lights and Shadows. Redone Player Animations and new Players(Bill and Nick). Redone Animatronic AI. Improved Minigames. Last but not least, SinglePlayer is a lot less difficult.”
Much like Cawthon’s game, you must survive the nights against the animatronic AI. Bonnie, Freddy and the rest of the gang will roam around the pizzeria while players attempt to hide, run and scour the place to avoid getting murdered by the animatronic robot puppets.
It’s very similar to the Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 total conversion for Garry’s Mod.
The Doom mod features the party rooms, the iconic security room, a few bathrooms, the main hall and some air ducts.
The mod is pretty cool, as it moves from the day time to at night. During the day you can roam around without any problems, but at night the animatronics will begin to hunt you down and kill you.
The mod is quite hefty, clocking in at over 550MB, so you’ll need plenty of space free if you plan on installing it. You can download the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Doom Remastered mod right now from over on Media Fire.
