It is noted that Arc System Works plans to host a trial test for Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator 2 starting January 20th to January 22nd in Tokyo, Japan, at Sega Akihabara Building No. 1 and at High Tech Land Sega Nishinakajima. In case you missed it, during a recent stage event at Arc System Works Fighting Game Awards 2016, the general director and battle planer Daisuke Ishiwatari and Kazutoshi Sekine revealed the following content: Balance adjustments will be made to techniques (which includes new ones for existing characters), new episodes have been added for Jam Kuradoberi, Raven, Kum Haehyun, and Dizzy, and a free to-play Tutorial mode will be available, too.
Other improvements to the game include a new scenario to the story mode, and big improvements to the online mode.
The game will come in at an “affordable price” and will also feature a retail and digital release for both PS3 and PS4, while the PC version via Steam will get it in the form of a digital release. In addition I should explain that gamers who own the original Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator on PS3, PS4 and PC will be able to update to Xrd Revelator 2 by downloading what the devs call the “affordable” DLC.
This now brings us to the last piece of information which pertains to the new playable characters: Answer and Baiken. Both will have new episodes and more; the two can be seen below in a new video trailer.
