WWE 2K17 Future Stars Pack Highlights Tye Dillinger, Austin Aries, The Club

One of the biggest underdogs in NXT right now, and also one of the hottest stars on the rise, is the “Perfect 10” Tye Dillinger. He’s one of the breakout stars featured in the DLC for WWE 2K17s Future Stars Pack.

2K Games released a quick minute and a half trailer featuring small montage clips of the characters in the Future Stars Pack, including Austin Aries, Tye Dillinger, Mojo Rawley, and The Club… featuring Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

So a couple of things: First of all, why does Tye Dillinger look like they tried turning him into a black guy in the trailer? What happened? Is it the lighting? Did the normals get a little borked? It’s one thing to have a deep tan but the guy looks like he’s trying to intimate mahogany wood as a skin tone.

Anyway, his moves look sweet in the trailer. They don’t do the best of jobs of zooming out so we can get a full look at his set, but his Tie-Breaker looks intact.

Austin Aries’ moves aren’t bad, and his finisher appears to be executed with perfection. The one thing I’m absolutely baffled about is how The Club weren’t in the vanilla version of WWE 2K17. How does that happen? They’ve been one of the hottest acts in Japan and when they teamed with AJ Styles earlier in 2016 and yet they weren’t included in the main game? Baffling.

They’re modeled pretty good, though. You can easily make them out and tell that Visual Concepts did a bang-up job capturing the likenesses of Anderson and Gallows.

I’m a little shocked that No Way Jose wasn’t included or Sanity, especially Sanity… they’re pretty hot right now along with the Authors of Pain. Anyway, you can check out the entrances for each of the characters with the videos below courtesy of WhatsTheStatus, as spotted by Smackdown Hotel.

In addition to trailers featuring the entrances for all of the Future Stars, there’s also a video featuring all of the new moves that have been added to the mix that you can check out below.

The WWE 2K17 Future Stars DLC pack is available right now for PlayStation and Xbox game consoles. You can also look to get your hands on it for PC starting February 7th next month when WWE 2K17 launches for computer.
