You know me, I can’t get enough of games that let you make your own stuff and encourage gamers and folks to be creative at heart. Games that let folks dabble into stage/character creation are always good for those who don’t want to pay monthly fees or can’t afford certain expensive tools or programs to make their own stuff. Well, publisher and developer Pyromancers seek to help gamers make their own stuff with Dungeon Painter Studio.
Released on February 26th, and now open to the masses, Pyromancers’ Dungeon Painter Studio brings map creation to those who seek to make their own stages, or concept art and wish to see it come to fruition. The map editor tool comes loaded with a fist full of content and layers to easily create whatever lies in the back of your mind, as noted below.

As of now, quite a bit of folks are taking to the editor seeing that they are able to map out designs for stages and make them in a way that they couldn’t by hand. A lot folks also say that this program is good for Dungeon Masters when making role-playing games since they can create stuff on the fly.

Hopefully the editor opens up and supports Steam Workshop so that the community can help out and make the editor grow, because mods/alterations by the community is a good way of creating longevity in a product and acknowledging those who seek to help said project grow.
