Some mods can really change up a game while other mods do nothing but alter the look of something, impacting very little of the gameplay. The two latest mods follow the latter’s description, insofar that they add a new GPS skin and change the gearbox system in Farming Simulator 17. Focus Home Interactive and Giants Software game is out now for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
Some mods may seem weird to others, but not to everyone. Speaking of mods that may seem weird is a GPS skin mod that has been gaining more and more traction within the community recently. Although I may not find the mod all that great, it somehow gained enough attention to become the Editor’s Choice leading it to gather even more downloads.
Textures for this mod come in by Eribus, but the mod itself was uploaded by John Der33. If this mod seems like something worth downloading you can head on over to modland.net.
The other mod on this list offers a more intuitive gearbox system for all vehicles. In other words, this mod aims to add on to the config.xml file so that the existing gearbox for each and every single vehicle works on a more interactive level compared to what is present in the game.
Although the keybinding for you may be different from the image above, the image stands to show how the mod works across a keyboard. However, you can look over the mod and its changes that it brings thanks to the modder’s note:
“Many various transmission kinds can be simulated. There are classic gearboxes with gears, one or two groups and reverse gears or groups. You can select five gearbox: automatic, manual. It is also possible downshift.”
The gearbox mod by Zallaman and Mogli can be download by heading on over to modland.net.
