Scorn Will Be Part Of Humble Bundle’s Debut Publishing Lineup

Fans of Scorn should be happy to know that the game is now part of Humble Bundle’s debut publishing lineup. This ensures that an original and ambitious looking title won’t go under the radar after development. Humble Bundle will help Ebb Software with a “multi-million-dollar investment” program, which aims to help other games big and small alike to launch successfully.

Humble Bundle‘s debut publishing lineup stands to be good news for Scorn, seeing that the game had a rough Kickstarter run that inevitably resulted in the project to fail… sorta. But, with the publisher now backing the original looking action-adventure, horror game means that it will finally see its release when Q4 of this year rolls around.

It is noted that Humble Bundle wants to launch seven games across a semi-wide range of genres for gamers to enjoy, which includes PC, consoles and mobile devices. If you are curious as to what games will release through Humble Bundle’s publishing program lineup, they can be seen in following bulleted list:

  • A Hat in Time
  • HackyZack
  • Ikenfell
  • Keyboard Sports
  • No Truce with the Furies
  • Scorn
  • Staxel.

If you don’t know, John Polson, publishing lead of Humble Bundle, noted that this program guarantees eager gamers to get the chance to play games that look “awesome”. And with the digital games distributor amassing more than 10 million customers after its appearance in 2010, Humble Bundle not only wants to help bring audiences from all over to discover original games, but seeks to help developers create more original games through its publishing and funding service, and had this to say:

“We offer a wide range of publisher services with trusted teams to cover ports, marketing, localization, and everything a developer would need to release in today’s global games market.”

More games will be taken under Humble Bundle’s wing to see fruition. It was noted on a blog post that more games will be accepted from various developers around the world, which only means that we might see more games along the lines of Scorn get picked up.

As of now, it looks as if Scorn is safe enough to actually release without any complications during development. So we should see the first part of Scorn release as intended when Q4 shows up.

Before concluding, if you happen to have a game and you are a developer looking to get some help by Humble Bundle, you can check out the sign-up process if you’re interested.
