You know that blue hedgehog that was really cool back in the 1990s and then eventually turned into an Internet meme named Sanic? Well, Sega will be hosting a dedicated event pertaining to Sonic at the “Sonic the Hedgehog panel” at SXSW 2017 on March 16th at 5:00 p.m. CT, and will feature an unveiling of Project Sonic 2017 and Sonic Mania.
Yup, that’s right, the iconic fast hedgehog will have two new titles in the form of Project Sonic 2017 and Sonic Mania. If you want more information regarding said titles there is good news in that SEGA will detail information about Project Sonic 2017 and Sonic Mania during the early to mid-part of March.
This information regarding Project Sonic 2017 and Sonic Mania comes from the SXSW main site that has a header title reading “Gotta Go Fast”. The page does not detail any solid information regarding gameplay or mechanics, but instead lists information only about the panel.
We learn that SEGA will be the host of the Sonic the Hedgehog panel at SXSW 2017 on March 16th, and will start at 5:00 P.M. CT. As noted above the panel will contain both titles for those who can’t wait to see the games in action.
