Skyrim Special Edition Gains Zero Frost Armor And CC’s HQ Textures

Mods are still pouring in for Bethesda’s Skyrim and the Special Edition. Looking over to the latter the game has received new armor from Zero Frost and new HQ textures that make the game look better. Skyrim Special Edition is out now for PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The first mod on this list comes in by Zerofrost. The mod adds a new set of armor and weapons based on Norse mythology. At the moment the Valkyrie armor is only available for females, while the DragonLord armor is only available for males. However, the Nightingale Prime remastered armor is for both male and female characters, which all the mod’s content can be seen in the video below.

Continuing on from the Zerofrost armor mod comes the Jörmungandr. This dragon that can be summoned is also inspired from Norse Mythology. It currently has two attacks that either burn or poison foes with oral projectiles. A video by ZeroFrost Satyr showing the Jörmungandr sits below.

The whole mod (shown above) can be downloaded by heading over to NexusMods.

The next mods pretty much act one in the same, or should, and bring more high-quality textures to Skyrim Special Edition. These HQ mods come in by ClearanceClarence, which the three mods offer UHQ Mountains, HQ Mines and HQ Caves.

Screenshots showing the difference between the vanilla, brown and dark version sit below.

It’s worth noting that all three mods stand as re-textures to make your game look better, unless you just want some parts looking nice and other parts looking raggedy.

If you want to download all of these hand-crafted textured mods for your game you can by heading over to NexusMods for UHQ Mountains, HQ Mines and HQ Caves.
