Looking over to a recent report done on 505 Games and Inti Creates’ Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the game is now set to hit the Nintendo Switch. The big N’s console is out now, but Bloodstained is set to release across PC, PS4, Xbox One and the new console during the first half of 2018.
If you are into games similar to Castlevania and like 2D platforming and such, I think you might find some interest in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Although the game is not out yet, and won’t debut anytime soon, there is information surrounding one of the latest platforms it will hit when its release date rolls around come 2018.
Publication site Nintendo Everything decided to shed some light on the title and what systems it will be for, and what system will be dropped. The site explains that the developers over the 2D Gothic-like, action-adventure game will bring it over to the Nintendo Switch when its 2018 release window appears. This can be seen below in the image the site posted up for folks to look over.
As seen above, 60 “quality indie” titles will hit the console throughout 2017 and beyond. I find it funny how they had to put “quality” in there. I mean, it’s not like Steam Greenlight holds garbage indie games, eh? Jokes aside, the upcoming title can be seen in the second to last row near the middle, as the site mentioned in the post.
“You can see Bloodstained’s logo in the second to last column below, towards the middle. The graphic is similar to what was sent out a few days ago following the Nindies Showcase, but Bloodstained’s inclusion is new here.”
The game, as noted by the site, was originally set to launch for the Wii U console, but it is said that the team will instead launch the game for the new Nintendo Switch during the first half of 2018.
