Capcom just released two videos, one of which is actually old, but the videos come in to celebrate the upcoming Japanese March 18th Nintendo 3DS release of Monster Hunter XX. The videos feature the opening movie and a collaboration video showing Gon’s armor set.
You may or may not remember, but a while back when the demo for Monster Hunter XX dropped a video did too. This took place back on February 14th, 2017, where a certain YouTuber by the name of Saiven X posted up the opening movie of the game.
Well, that same video is now re-posted, except now it’s by Capcom. The video reveals a crew (or team) facing off with a gigantic sabre-tooth beast, which the team, while fighting the beast, witness a glowing object in the near distance. The opening movie moves on to an air battle that eventually reveals the glowing object is a dragon-like creature.
Anyways, the video mentioned above is joined by another video showing the Hunter x Hunter collaboration. The video reveals the Gon Armor that comes along with the head, suit, arms and leg pieces.
The collaboration was announced through an issue of Weekly Jump, which even showcased the character in the game. If all of that sounds interesting and you want to see both the opening movie and Gon’s armor set, you can check out both videos posted by CapcomChannel.
As of now, there is no Western release date set for this game. This means that if you are a fan of the upcoming Monster Hunter XX game you will need to wait some time before a release date is given for Western fans to consume.
Speaking of a release date, Capcom is set to release Monster Hunter XX for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on March 18th, which is just five days away from now.
