Check Out Over 20 Minutes Of Rising Storm 2: Vietnam City Combat

One of the most recent updates for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam was for both a server and client upgrade. The game also received a new gameplay video showing the close-quarters perspective of urban/city combat in the humid streets of Vietnam. Tripwire Interactive and Antimatter Games’ upcoming FPS game is set to hit PC some time in the early part of 2017.

Tripwire Interactive and Antimatter Games are aiming to bring forth a new FPS shooter that is not a WW2 or futuristic game. The true question behind the devs’ title, namely Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, is how streamlined is the gameplay and will it bring an addictive rush when players dive neck deep into the combat?

The answer to that question seems to be that the devs are on the right track so far with Rising Storm 2. And if the latest gameplay video stands to be a reflection of how all battles and games will be, I think that folks who like gripping FPS multiplayer games will find some solace in this title.

The current weapons in this game compared to the older builds really show improvements and pack a heavy punch when fired. I also like the pacing and that it’s not too fast, but slow enough for you to see what’s going on to counter-react the opposing side’s attacks.

Of course the game can use some graphical and animation upgrades in certain areas, but seeing how it is still in Closed Beta we could see some future improvements for things like characters, weapons and the environment.

But with that said, I’ll leave you with the latest build of the game and how city combat looks in Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. The video that runs well over 20 minutes and comes in by YouTuber DiplexHeated, who not only explores a lot of parts of the city, but also uses a variety of weapons, too.
