I guess you could say that the Destiny 2 “Last Call” Cayde-6 teaser trailer that opts for a humorous tone is an announcement trailer for an announcement trailer. But however it goes, the new trailer reveals that Bungie and Activision will show off more of Destiny 2 come March 30th.
It looks like Nathan Fillion is reprising his role as one of the most memorable good-guy characters in the realm of Destiny as the very opinionated and sarcastic robot Cayde-6. To be honest here, during the time that I’ve spent playing Destiny, although I have my gripes with the game, the Deadpool-like character did spit some oftentimes funny and witty lines, and seeing that he is now spotlighted in the new “Last Call” trailer we can only expect to see even more of Caydepool-6.
The teaser trailer stands as an announcement for an upcoming announcement that will land at the near end part of this month on March 30th, and will stand to be the worldwide reveal of Destiny 2. I’m curious what the trailer will reveal, and if the game will take a big leap from the original or stand to be an expanded version of the first Destiny? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
While we wait for the upcoming reveal, you can check out the aftermath of the Cabal attack on the city and Cayde-6 telling his story in a bar during the heat of the moment — that matches the recently revealed splash art for the sequel — to a sweeping Frame that could care less.
The video above comes from Destinygame‘s channel, which is the official channel to the sci-fi, first-person shooter game.
I’m not sure how the second game will turn out, but if you are curious as to how the game will look it’s best to tune in on March 30th to find out what Bungie and Activision have up their sleeve.
