The name of publisher and developer Bluehole’s game is very strange to me, I mean what is PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUND? Anyways, a new gameplay video is out showing in-game footage, which accompanies the current Closed Beta for the PC game.

If you have no idea as to what PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUND is and want to know what it is, the game is a Battle Royale type game. Pitting players against each other in a do or die situation, each player must find weapons and supplies to survive the deadly island and other contenders.

“PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is a last-man-standing shooter being developed with community feedback. Players must fight to locate weapons and supplies in a massive 8×8 km island to be the lone survivor. This is BATTLE ROYALE.”

As of now the game holds quite a few weapons to use, and also features character customization. You can check out the concept art that shows how one can add-on and change outfits.

Enough with the concept art and on with gameplay. The video below stands to be the Closed Beta teaser trailer and covers the action portion Battlegrounds.

The new video that was released today shows even more in-game stuff. However, I do have to say that the game needs some polishing and work in some areas. But I guess it’s understandable seeing how Battlegrounds is an indie game that’s still in its Closed Beta stage. Keeping that in mind, you can watch the Closed Beta gameplay trailer that was just released.

For those unaware, the Closed Beta started back on February 24th and will end on March 19th. Those who are in the Closed Beta will have to abide by the schedule play time that the devs have listed.
