As the date for Skyrim SE script editor 64-bit draws closer — we only have 10 days before March ends, meaning that it’ll arrive soon — some new mods for the Special Edition have arrived to fill in the gap. Bethesda’s Skyrim Special Edition is out now for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
In this list of mods for Skyrim Special Edition the first mod up comes in by Dwemer156. The mod has gone through a couple of versions to perfect the “overhaul” moniker regarding Winterhold. With v1.0 bringing Hall of the Dead, new walls, docks, ruins and guards, to only be followed by v1.1 which added even more to the mod.
Finally, v1.2 rolled around and managed to bring more detail to the overhaul. You can check out a video by Chay that gives a tour of the mod, which overhauls Winterhold.
You can download this mod by heading over to NexusMods.
The second mod on this list is by Mandragorasprouts, which fixes athletic female body textures. The mod fixes face, body, complexion, vampire head, lips, and eyeliner textures. The 2K (or 1K) texture mod also offers up optional changes to abs, hair and muscle, which can be seen below.
You can get this mod by hitting up NexusMods.
The last mod on this list comes ion by modder Metalsaber. This mod replaces all snow textures in Skyrim Special Edition with fluffy snow that actually looks like it is fluffed up, instead of it looking like a flat texture.
It is worth noting that this mod only uses textures and will not, or should not, slow down your game since it isn’t adding fluffy snow model files across snow capped fields, but 2048×2048 textures.
In other words, this mod is purely cosmetic and will not change anything related to gameplay. With that said you can check out a video showing the mod thanks to Ultimate Immersion.
If this mod seems like something worth getting to enhance the snow around your modded Skyrim game, you can download it over on NexusMods.
