CI Games released a new trailer for Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 featuring a look at the game’s story mode and the relationship between the main character and the brother he’s in search for.
The trailer is fairly short and to the point. It covers the brotherly relationship between Jon and Robert North and how Robert is kidnapped while Jon is left for dead.
The trailer keeps it pretty basic, revealing that Jon will use whatever is within his means to find his brother. You can check out the trailer below.
Holy snaps… the gore.
I had no idea the gore was that way in this game.
After sniping a guy in the head his head literally explodes like a watermelon being crushed by a Nordic hammer. Gib and brain matter flies through the air like leaves falling from a tree during a fall breeze.
The violence is juxtaposed with the relationship between Jon and his brother. We get quick snippets and flashbacks of the duo as they grow up through the years. Sniping, obviously a destiny paved in their road through life.
A lot of fans who have been following the development of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 have been excited about the upcoming title. It was delayed recently and pushed back to the end of April… April 25th to be exact.
The game has been compared oftentimes to Far Cry 2 in terms of focusing more on the open-world, open-ended approach to carrying out missions. The ability to go in stealthy, Rambo-style or sniping from afar gives Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 a different kind of appeal from other action FPS titles out there.
The quality of the animations, the open-world, the facility designs and the gunplay have all been praised by gamers who have put time into Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, so it seems like CI Games has a sleeper-hit that’s shaping up in their hands. You won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on the game, as it’ll be released at the end of April for home consoles and PC.
