Arcane Mapper Offers Precise Tabletop Dungeon Creation Tools

If you are into dungeon map designing and like to role-play with others, you might have trouble sometimes coming up with maps, monster placement and other small details that can help shape your world. Well, Arcane Architect seeks to fix that very problem with its latest map editor tool called Arcane Mapper.

The tool is said to be for PC and will be available through Steam Early Access. The good news about this tool is that it will feature Steam Workshop support, meaning that it is mod-friendly, opening it up to be a lot more versatile than what you might have originally thought. According to the description of this map creation toolkit, it states…

“Arcane Mapper is a mapping tool designed for Digital or Virtual Tabletops and printing for physical play. Put together high quality maps for D&D, Pathfinder, GURPS, Hero or any other Pencil and Paper RPG system – whether on the table top or virtual. It features a simple to use interface for drawing out rooms, adding objects and adding atmosphere with high quality lighting.”

Speaking of Steam Workshop, and what seems to be a lone developer’s work, Arcane Architect recently posted that beta testers of the editor will be able to see the Workshop support through the Community Hub, as noted below.

“Steam Workshop is now officially supported by Arcane Mapper – if you are a Beta Tester, you should be able to go to the Community Hub on Steam and see the Steam Workshop page.”

The soundless trailer that shows all the tools and functionality of the middleware can be viewed below thanks to Arcane Architect.

In case you didn’t watch the trailer or if you’ve missed it, the editor is currently set to be available for Windows. Mac and other support is said to come later down the line if the game does well on release.

Arcane Mapper is set to debut this month for PC. If this game or editor looks interesting more information can be found over on arcanemapper.com.
