There are four new mods on NexusMods that are available for download that really changes up Fallout 4. The mods bring a new quest, an add-on pack, the “true version” of Dogmeat and alternate functions in Survival mode. Bethesda’s Fallout 4 is out now for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
The first mod on this list comes in by Thuggysmurf. The mod offers hours of new content that contains: new quests, locations, factions and companions. The mod also features fully voiced NPCs and characters in special events, which spans across companions and other characters.
Below is a note from the modder detailing the mod.
“The time to complete the main story line and side quests will typically range between 7 and 10 hours depending on how much exploration you choose and how many terminals you read.”
You can either get the Outcast & Remnants mod over on NexusMods or you can watch its trailer that Formado 721 posted up.
The next mod on this list offers an add-on pack to Fallout 4. Like most add-ons this mod, too, offers some content for folks exploring the wasteland and seeking to expand their base(s) by using new “industrial type buildings”. Two parts labeled as “SubStation and “Pump House” are applicable to your settlement/structure through this mod.
You can download JtBryant96’s mod by heading over to NexusMod.
The next mod offers a better companion in Dogmeat in that the four-legged animal is a lot more fast and aggressive when compared to the vanilla version. You can see the “True Dogmeat” in action thanks to Jimmy Gatz.
You can get Zazuban’s mod by hitting up NexusMods.
The last mod on this list comes in by Experied6978. The mod allows folks around the wasteland to use console commands, quicksave and other functions in the Survival difficulty:
This mod patches the hardcoded “features” that come with the Survival difficulty, such as being unable to use the console, unable to quicksave, and unable to save from the pause menu. This mod also allows you to return to the Survival difficulty if you had previously downgraded your difficulty.
The mod is up for download over on NexusMods.
Fallout 4 is currently available for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
