Sega Showcases New Gameplay Of Sonic Forces

Everybody’s favorite blue meme is back and can be seen for one minute and 40 seconds in action thanks to a brand new trailer for Sonic Forces. Yup, that’s right, Sega has released a new video trailer showcasing what Sonic Forces has to offer during its current state of development. The game itself will be released later this year for PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.

Like always, a meme picture of Sanic will be displayed at the bottom of this post, just like any other post regarding Sonic, but on to a more serious note: Sega has released a new video showing off a minute and 40 seconds of Sonic Forces, where there’s a 2D level that sees the iconic blue hedgehog getting right back in the speed zone, except… it’s also in 3D.

Thanks to the new video that’s now visible for fans and gamers alike to watch, the video trailer explores a nice portion of what Sonic Forces‘ Green Hill Zone looks like.

The real question while we wait for the game to come out is: how glitchy will this game be? Because I’ve had a lot of glitchy encounters when playing Sonic games, which has me hoping that this title will be fleshed out mechanically when it launches. Speaking of having to wait, you can watch the video trailer courtesy of SEGA Europe that seems to have a growing number of dislikes.

It has been noted that the upcoming Sonic game (known as Forces) will feature three characters that players will be able to assume on release. Only two of the three are known, which consist of Modern Sonic, Classic Sonic and a third unrevealed character — hopefully Sanic.

Sonic Forces will launch for PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch during this year’s holiday season.

Lastly, and as promised above, here is a dynamic picture of everyone’s favorite hedgehog in his truest form… Sanic.
