Ubisoft has announced the launch date for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands – Fallen Ghosts DLC, which is set to launch across PC, PS4 and Xbox One on June 6th, and a week earlier on May 30th for Season Pass owners.
Fallen Ghosts stands to be the second major expansion for Ghost Recon Wildlands according to blog.ubi.com, and is set to drop for all players across PC and consoles on June 6th. If you happen to be an owner of the game’s Season Pass, then you will gain access to the Fallen Ghosts DLC on May 30th.
The expansion or DLC sees a new brutal group introduced, seeking to stop the Ghost and put them out of action. The group goes by the name of Los Extranjeros, and is broken up into four types:
- Armored – are equipped with heavy bulletproof plates, making them dangerous in CQC.
- Elite Snipers – are a type of advanced units equipped with movement detectors, allowing these highly accurate unit to spot far targets.
- Jammers – do exactly what their names suggest in that they have jamming equipment in their backpack, letting them neutralize drones and interfere with electronic equipment.
- Covert Ops – have a new prototype cloaking device that makes them almost invisible, plus a powerful crossbow.
Fallen Ghosts is said to bring 15 mission campaigns that sees players taking down four new bosses in three different regions. The campaign missions are said to be geared toward tactical affairs set in areas of jungle and swampland, joined by a retooled weather system.
Fallen Ghosts will allow for the whole experience to be enjoyed solo or with three other players via co-op. While playing through the new DLC, six new weapons will be up for use that range from assault rifles, sniper rifles and a crossbow. Lastly, four new side-activities will make an appearance in the DLC bringing exclusive rewards.
