Team Saber Rider not too long ago published a new GIF and video showing gameplay of Saber Rider and The Star Sheriffs. This gameplay footage is also accompanied by a playable demo and a video showing the canceled 3D version. Saber Rider and The Star Sheriffs is set to release Q3 of 2017 for Nintendo 3DS, PC and the Dreamcast.
The 2D run-n-gun game known as Saber Rider and The Star Sheriffs was featured on Steam Greenlight and has since passed through the platform with no problems, along with having a successful Kickstarter run. As of now, it is just a matter of the devs polishing the game up and using the resources they have to ship it by Q3 of this year.
In the meantime, the devs have pumped out an update as of this month showing a GIF of cyber horses, new enemies and screen-shake effects to let players know when incoming dangers (like the cyber horses) are about to arrive. This can be seen below in the same Wild West stage.
