Scorn Set To Gain Status Update Sometime Soon

Ever wondered what happened to Scorn, the action horror game that mixes works of Rob Bottin and Zdzislaw Beksinski in a sick, twisted world? Well, it’s still in development and we should hear news about the game very soon according to the developers.

I’m sure a lot of you probably forgot about Ebb Software’s Scorn, right? Well, I have too until YouTube suggested its trailer as of recent. Upon doing research and looking over some of the announcements that the dev team posted after watching the trailer, this piece of information popped up.

No new update has been sent out just yet, but seeing how the response made on Twitter was posted on April 25th, 2017, means that we are just four days away (as of this writing) from it being exactly a month from said update — given that we are in May.

Usually Ebb Software is quiet until the dev team are ready to show something, which means that they are ready to show something either near the latter part of this month or sometime early June according to the “Next month” response.

It’s good to know that the devs are still working on Scorn. However the update will hopefully detail progress on the game in an informative way and when the action horror game will drop for gamers to play.

For those of you who don’t know, the game is a first-person adventure-like title that explores odd events coupled with disturbingly somber environments. The basic premise is explained below.

“Scorn is an atmospheric first-person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and somber tapestry.

It is designed around the idea of “being thrown into the world”. Isolated and lost inside this dream-like world, you will explore different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion. The unsettling environment is a character itself.”

Scorn is set to come out this year in two parts for PC, while console versions are set to debut sometime later. The official Greenlight trailer sits below for your viewing pleasure.
