Vanquish PC Version Set To Hit Steam On May 25th

Sega and Platinum Games just published a new trailer showing an updated Vanquish, this time being the PC version that is set to hit Steam on May 25th. This now brings the seven year-old PS3 and Xbox 360 title up to date, widening its existence from the original owners and those who missed out on it when it first released.

Sega and Platinum Games released Vanquish on the same day that Bethesda, Bandai Namco and Obsidian Entertainment released Fallout: New Vegas, which led to a lot of people saying that the former was drowned out be the latter. If that wasn’t the case for you and you did not get the game because of not owning a PS3 or Xbox 360, folks on PC will now be able to try the seven year old game as of May 25th.

Sweetening the deal for those who are on the frugal side will find that if you already own Bayonetta on Steam, Vanquish when pre-ordered on steam will be 25% off. The Deluxe Digital Edition content will also be free to all those who pre-order Vanquish up until May 25th.

Instead of wasting your time rambling, here’s the latest video trailer showing the 2017 PC version of Vanquish.

The official description over on YouTube can be read below:

“From master director Shinji Mikami of Resident Evil fame, Sega brings Platinum Games’ revolutionary sci-fi action shooter to PC. Unlocked framerate, unlocked HD resolutions, extensive graphics options: the definitive way to play. War has accelerated.

Gear up in the Augmented Reaction Suit as government operative Sam Gideon and become the ultimate weapon. Combine unrivaled firepower with superhuman speed and agility to take down a huge variety of deadly robots.”

If you are new and have new idea as to what Vanquish holds feature-wise, the third-person shooter is all about stylized combat, evading attacks, and partaking in augmented battles. The game features a vast arsenal of high-tech weapons — and the PC version includes all DLC weapons — promoting players to race to the top when playing online and competing on the leaderboards.

Lastly, the PC port will feature unlocked resolution and framerates, anti aliasing, anisotropic filtering, SSAO Lighting, scalable textures and shadow quality, post-processing effects and much more. Folks will also be able to mix and match any language and subtitle via the options.

You can check out Vanquish’s new Steam page now.
