The pink cream-puff is back and this time he has a spotlight in an E3 2017 video trailer thanks to Nintendo. Entitled as “Kirby“, the new game and its features are shown off in a one minute and 21 second long package, which the game itself will be for the Nintendo Switch come 2018.
I’ll admit it, I do like to play some Kirby games, and to see a new Kirby game for the Nintendo Switch did get me a little excited. However, before excitement takes over, let’s take a look at what the game has to offer via its official description that Nintendo posted up for Kirby’s E3 announcement:
“Kirby is back in this new title coming to the Nintendo Switch console in HD. Recruit enemies as helpers, use Kirby copy abilities such as Sword, Fire and Water, and join forces with up to three friends for a different kind of team-up action. Coming 2018!”
The game will sport multiplayer so that friends can team up and battle various iconic enemies in the ongoing Kirby series, followed by team oriented puzzles and segments sprawled throughout stages. Moreover, if you happen to like solo play enemies can be recruited to help you explore the colorful stages and reach the end in one piece.
As one should already know, Kirby’s ability to suck up and copy an enemies special trait remains present, except it looks like there are even more abilities to utilize in this new Kirby game.
If you want to see the new trailer that runs for one minute and 21 seconds it lies below for your viewing pleasure and, of course, comes in by Nintendo‘s YouTube channel.
No specific release date has been announced yet, but it is known that Kirby for the Nintendo Switch is set to come out sometime during 2018 for fans and gamers alike to enjoy.
