Martial Arts Brutality Brings Brutal CCG Gameplay To Android Devices

Cold Beam Games announced that Martial Arts Brutality has currently entered into open beta on Google’s Android devices. You can check the game out right now over on the Google Play Store.

Martial Arts Brutality is a free-to-play card collecting game where you collect cards that allow you to pull off a number of moves across various classic styles of combat, including Shaolin Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Shotokan Karate and Taekwondo.

Much like the game Karate Master 2 Knock Down on Steam, the game offers you absolutely vicious looking attacks as you attempt to break your opponent’s body down move-by-move. The objective is to utilize cards that will allow you to KO opponents by inflicting “horrific injuries” unto them. You can see how the game plays out with the video trailer below.

This reminds me of the manga and anime from Takayuki Yamaguchi, Shigurui: Death Frenzy.

There’s obviously a lot more over-the-top fighting here compared to Shigurui. You would probably find it closer to the likes of the highly underrated PS2 classic with literal bone-breaking gameplay, Garouden Break Blow: Fist or Twist. If you don’t remember what that game was like there’s a video you can check out below.

Now that’s how real men fight.

If you need the next best thing on mobile devices you can get Martial Arts Brutality for free by picking up a digital copy from over on the Google Play Store.

There’s a single-player mode along with a PvP mode for up to eight players. There’s also the ability to learn how to master moves by partaking in mini-games and unlocking devastating new attacks by collecting new cards.

To be a free game you don’t lose much if you wanted to play something simple while you make the commute to and from work or back and forth to school.
