Folks on PC looking to save some money on older and new titles will supposedly be able to do so when Steam’s Summer Sale begins in the near future according to PayPal UK. If the the leak is true the annual sales extravaganza on Steam will kick-off on June 22nd, 2017.
Catching wind from publication site GameRant, Steam is supposedly set to launch its yearly Summer sale very soon. According to a tweet that PayPal UK sent out letting people know what’s about to go down, the actual contents that reside in the tweet can be found below.

Looking back to the publication site, the date of the Summer sale is said to start on June 22nd, 2017. Dates for the digital distribution will begin at 1:00 P.M. ET / 4:00 P.M. PT starting on the given date.
The publication site did caution that the info leaked by PayPal UK regarding Steam’s Summer sale isn’t exactly official since Valve itself has yet to confirm the official dates. However, the site did mention that last year’s sale begun around the same time as this leaked/alleged event.
In addition to the above, it is said that Steam’s Summer Sale 2016 started on June 23rd, with the date for this Summer Sale is expected to launch on the 22nd-24th. Again, please do take this with a grain of salt given that Valve did not confirm any dates yet.
Moreover, given PayPal’s track record for slipping up and revealing Steam’s seasonal deals (like last year’s Summer and Winter deals), it’s likely that this slip up could hold some truth behind it like the past inadvertent listings.
Lastly, if the the above holds any truth or validity, are you looking forward to Steam’s 2017 Summer Sale? If so, will you be stocking up and taking advantage of a lot of the discounted titles and games for your PC?
