Spike Chunsoft Reveals New Attack On Titan 2 Game For 3DS

The manga and the anime of Attack on Titan proved to be very popular in that both fan-made and big name publisher and developers sought to make video games based on the title. This time around Spike Chunsoft revealed a new teaser website showing off Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates, which is set to release sometime this year for the Nintendo 3DS.

If you are hard up for anything Attack on Titan, then you will more than likely fancy that Spike Chunsoft will be making a sequel game to their Nintendo 3DS game entitled Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains. That’s right, the handheld sequel to the titan slaying game is set to release sometime this year in Japan, and a Western release date could more than likely follow in the near future.

The above information comes in courtesy of Gematsu, in which we learn that the second iteration is noted to be a follow up to the company’s previously released game, meaning that it could play out almost the same as the first with a few tweaks, or it could be an entirely new setup that sees players slaying titans in a different manner.

To be honest here, I hope that the game isn’t a tweaked or slightly altered version of the first game just with slightly better graphics, because that would be the cheap way to go. I do hope that fans who enjoy AoT are treated to something substantial when Future Coordinates rolls out the new game, insofar that it’s a decent or noteworthy 3DS game.

As of now, there is no real information on the upcoming Attack on Titan title or gameplay footage seeing that it was just revealed via a teaser splash on its newly posted website. However, it’s more than likely that Spike Chunsoft will release additional information in the near future, until then you can look over the newly posted teaser website over on spike-chunsoft.co.jp.
