Code Vein is shaping up to be a game to look out for when 2018 rolls around, but instead of having to wait a year to see the game, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer showing more battle scenes that depict how Code Vein’s early gameplay and fights play out. Code Vein is set to release sometime in 2018 across PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Bandai Namco has released a new gameplay video showing more of Code Vein and the battles between player and enemies around the game’s dark world. Showcased at Anime Expo 2017, Bandai Namco also published a list of highlights. Before jumping into the highlights that are beneath the video up next, you can watch two minutes of Code Vein and its battle system thanks to 876TV.
Looking over to the highlights that Bandai Namco recently published, the game will feature a story driven “connected dungeon” experience that will immerse you in to the world of Code Vein. In an attempt to get players really immersed into said title, players will be able to create their very own characters and pick a partner as you venture out into a world of destruction, overrun by the Lost.
Furthermore, the feel of the game can be changed depending on the partner picked to follow you on your adventure, each with their very on combat style and background story. The player can also coordinate attacks with a partner to maximize strength and defense when fighting various enemies.
Moreover, using “Gifts” powered by enemy blood can increases a player’s strength, weaken enemies, and open opportunities to wield overpowered (or OP) weapons and attacks. Speaking of weapons, the devs also highlight that there are a myriad of weapons like bayonets, axes and spears, to accommodate your favorite battle style. Lastly, strategy is said to come in handy when a dangerous enemy approaches, prompting for players to use partnered attacks and the special Blood Veil enhancements to come out alive.
Code Vein is set to release sometime in 2018 and will be for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. More information on this game can be found over on code-vein.com.
