First up comes Jimmy Ken and K, who are hackers in the Digital World. It’s said that the world is divided into groups with different motives and objectives. It is noted that some of the groups will cooperate, others will fight each other to destroy the dimensional barriers and invade the real world. At the moment, one of the largest group of hackers goes by the name of Zaxon and will fight vigorously to protect the Digital World.

One of the members of Zaxon, Jimmy Ken, is unsatisfied with management of the group and decides to leave and forms his own group called “Demons.” During the midst of all of the confusion, another mysterious hacker by the name of K wants to chase down a specific criminal who is hunting for the protagonist’s account.

Looking away from the story and to the latest content, players will be able to battle each other with the Digimon they have trained through Network Battles. The experience has been noted to be enhanced with a Rank Battle mode with pre-fixed rules and rating points.

In addition to the above, rules for Event Battle will change every two weeks and won’t affect player’s score. Players, however, will be rewarded items in said mode depending on their performance.

It is also worth mentioning that Players will be able to create a room with its very own rules and invite up to eight friends in the online mode. Lastly, the coins earned from the Rank and Event Battle modes can be used in the Coin Shop to purchase accessories and items for your Digimon or character in the online mode, too.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory is to release for PS4 and PS Vita in 2017 in Japan, and during the early part of 2018 in the West.
