Milestone announced that MXGP3 – The Official Motorcross Videogame will be coming to the Nintendo Switch “soon”. The game released back on May 30th for the Xbox One, PS4 and on Steam for PC. The Switch is a little late to the party but they’re still getting the goods.

The announcement went out recently during the GamesCom 2017 event taking place in Cologne, Germany, which is the largest video game convention gathering in Europe. Heck, it even managed to lure out Germany’s own Angela Merkel, who came to the event to celebrate the game culture that’s wholly castrated in her own country thanks to asinine censorship laws, which prevent games like Criminal Girls 2 and Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni from being release there… legally. It should come as no surprise when Germany’s own USK supports the deranged sociopolitical ramblings of critical theory critic Jonathan McIntosh.

Anyway, Milestone wanted Nintendo Switch owners to know that the Unreal Engine 4 racing game is coming soon to the platform and will support both home console and portable play, taking advantage of Nintendo’s latest system’s unique capabilities to take gaming on the go without having to do anything other than pick it up out of the dock.

As you can see, this would make MXGP3 the first real, simulated racing game available on the Nintendo Switch; something fast, something dark, something gritty and something realistic.

The game will feature the full 2016 racing season, along with with the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations. A full career mode will be available along with rider and bike customization and more than 300 different components and 75 different brands to utilize when it comes to tweaking and modifying your bike.

Speaking of bikes… the game sports 10 different two-stroke bike models, with advanced physics and improved audio over MXGP2.

You can look for MXGP3 to arrive on the Nintendo Switch at some undisclosed time before 2017 rounds out. Hopefully the date arrives soon enough, because a lot of people probably don’t want it interfering with their plans to pick up Super Mario Odyssey this October.
