According to the latest rumor that BlastingNews publicized, a few new things for unaware No Man’s Sky fans to look over has surfaced. It is worth noting that the rumor covers the possibility of a new story, new race and update 1.25 or 1.3. As of course, keen-eyed fans and those who studied the latest news surrounding the alternate reality game (ARG) will likely know all of this, but those who are out of the loop here’s what is rumored to hit No Man’s Sky in the near future…
According to the site, development reveals that phase 2 of No Man’s Sky ARG from the live Waking Titan website will introduce a new race in the upcoming update for PC and PS4. Moreover, this new race is speculated to be tied to a new “story DLC” that will see players discovering more of the universe in the game.
The Waking Titan site was most active in July and now that we are in August, the publication site suggests that fans might be treated to something big this August — which is the same as the game’s launch month. Some speculate it may be part of a one year anniversary update. You can read what the publication site had to say about a “leaked top secret document” below:
“Fans could be nearing to an impending announcement of an anniversary update from Hello Games and its founder Sean Murray. leaked top secret document reported earlier revealed its imminent release, however, Murray has still to confirm this piece of information.”
There’s no telling what the update will bring at launch, but given the recent cryptic activity by Hello Games on the ARG site, it does hint that something story related will hit No Man’s Sky. The true question is, will the final release be as exciting as the ARG clues?
