Saber Rider And The Star Sheriffs Game Coming To Nintendo Switch

Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs or Star Musketeer Bismarck was an animated TV series that later gained a video game adaptation. Recently, though, another video game is set to come out and will soon hit the Nintendo Switch. Team Saber Rider’s Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs is currently in development for PC, 3DS, Dreamcast, and now the Switch.

That’s right, the latest device by Nintendo that seems to be moving quite the units as of recent will have another title heading its way. indie publisher and developer Team Saber Rider now has Nintendo’s approval to bring its 2D run-n-gun Space-Western, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, to the Nintendo Switch.

If you have no clue how the animated series looked, both the official Western and Japanese intros of Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs sit below for you to look over.

If the intros to the show have you pumped-up and ready to play a 2D shoot-em up game, Team Saber Rider released a free playable demo and a video showing what the game has to offer. If you are not sure about waiting it out this current quarter to get your hands on the game there’s no need to worry since you will be able to play and see the run-n-gun game early thanks to callxyz.com.

I should note that the demo reflects the early version of Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, meaning that there will likely be a lot of features unpolished or not at their finest when playing through the demo.

Moreover, the game is set to release sometime this year during the third quarter. Seeing that we are in the middle of the third quarter (July-September) it’s likely the game will release mid-to-late September for PC, 3DS, Dreamcast, and now the Switch.

Additional information on the game that was once featured on the now deceased Greenlight platform can be found over on saberridergame.com.
