Startup Company Guide: Learning The Basics To Become Successful

Starting a company or business from scratch can be very difficult. If you happen to be stuck and in search of a guide for Hovgaard Games’ Startup Company, this guide aims to help newcomers understand the basics to said game. Startup Company is available for PC via Steam Early Access.

If you happen to be new and have no idea what’s what or what to do in Startup Company, hopefully this guide will give you a basic understanding on how to create a system that makes your company successful. Below is the official description for Startup Company:

Startup Company is a business simulation sandbox game. You play as the CEO of a newly formed software company. Your job is to either complete client contracts to make money, or build your very own products.

First things first, if you are new here are some things to go over and study that include the positions of a Manager, Developer, Designer, Researcher, Dev Opp, Sales Executive, Marketer, Lead Developer, and HR Manager. The links to each of the given jobs are detailed by YouTuber FalsePhoenix, as seen below.

It is important to remember that you will be facing hundreds of contracts, but not all of them will be good for you, your business or developers. Carefully look over what is needed rather than what you want for your business, until your company is more than stable.

Moreover, no matter if you want to deliver contracts or build your own product(s) you will need components and other resources to be manufactured. This can only be done through developers, designers, and lead developers to produce beneficial content that your company needs.

Next up comes Company Benefits and Office Bonus. The two links by FalsePhoenix explains the above perks. I should note that they are extremely helpful if you know how and when to use them. Speaking of knowing how to apply name feats, a “let’s play” by Vanilla PC Strategy shows how to start from scratch and build up a company. Startup Company is available right now for PC via Steam Early Access, and runs for $9.99.
