A new video has surfaced showing The Evil Within 2. The video focuses on the demo present at Gamescom 2017 and what Sebastien must go through during a side-quest in Bethesda and Tango Gameworks’ upcoming horror-survival title. The Evil Within 2 is slated to debut for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 13th.
I should warn you that the upcoming clip that sits below potentially stands as a spoiler and does reveal sequences that may be somewhat important to the full game of The Evil Within 2. The gameplay video covers close to five minutes of raw footage, so it’s best to keep that in mind before reading onward.
During this year’s Gamescom, Bethesda held a booth for gamers to try out a demo for The Evil Within 2, which featured the very section in the new video footage posted by YouTuber 4PlayersTVexklusiv. The video focuses on one of the game’s side-quests that features the protagonist using his stealth skills.
You can watch the video as mentioned above right here:
Fragments of gameplay from the side-quest can be seen throughout the video, opting for a mix-up in scenery in that Sebastien jumps spontaneously between places. I’m not sure how the whole horror-survival element will play throughout the game, but given the video footage above expect a lot of jumping around places.
As it stands now, fans seem to be pretty content with the gameplay footage. The biggest gripes that surface is Sebastien making comments about strange happenings and the lighting being too bright. Given that the game is two months out from releasing to the public, we might just get a darker version of the game with less of Sebastien thinking out load.
The Evil Within 2 is currently in development and is set to release across PC, PS4 and Xbox One come October 13th. More information on this very game can be found by hitting up theevilwithin2.bethesda.net.
