BioWare Announces Dragon Age Project, Fourth Game Not Confirmed

After the controversial and diabolical release that was EA and BioWare’s Mass Effect: Andromeda, it seems that the team is back at it again, except this time it’s a new Dragon Age project that is not the fourth iteration. Dragon Age creative director, Mike Laidlaw, explains how something is trying to come to life over at the studio.

According to publication site GameRant information about the next Dragon Age game has spilled out a bit, which comes in by Dragon Age creative director, Mike Laidlaw. As it stands now, the next installment will not be a fourth title but something that could be a mobile game, spin-off or prequel of some sort.

The publication site found that…

“It began on Twitter, when a Dragon Age fan asked Laidlaw about the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s final DLC, Trespasser. “Mike, is there a chance that DA4 starts before Trespasser, so Trespasser becomes AU? Or is [the] DLC ending canon?” user @LeidaPaleo questioned. Laidlaw responded simply: “DA4 is not confirmed. Trespasser is canon.””

Laidlaw went on to explain surrounding information about the much speculated fourth game and noted that…

“There is a Dragon Age project happening. It is not confirmed as the fourth main game in the series. Many sites have run with the rumor.”

Moreover, back on June 28th, 2017, Laidlaw went on to confirm that BioWare’s Dragon Age team is currently hiring “a lot of people”. Well, if the team hires more unqualified people that happen to be cosplayers and known racists, then get ready for another joke of a game.

Speaking of known racists, just last month Manveer Heir commented on the current state of BioWare. You know the company has been taking a bad dip when an abysmal person like Heir says that it is becoming worse:

Manveer bioware 2

The above goes to show you how toxic ideology found in a company like BioWare can never please toxic people like Heir. And about that last tweet, it’s just Heir projecting himself, that’s all.

Whether there is a team A, B or a fallen studio of that branch, BioWare is still BioWare, thus meaning that upcoming work may resemble that of Mass Effect: Andromeda. If checklist propaganda, characters purposefully made to look ugly, glitchy gameplay, poor scripting, bad acting, and other issues make it into this upcoming game, don’t be surprised.

Summarizing the above would tells us that the next project will be 10 times more toxic than the last game, but hopefully that’s not the case. Anyway, what’s for certain is that a new spin-off or alternate Dragon Age game is in the works.
