Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have released a new batch of profile updates on Dynasty Warrior 9’s official website. The character updates reveal that of Sun Ce, Ma Chao and Jia Chong. Dynasty Warriors 9 will debut in Japan for PS4, and in the West for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Dynasty Warriors 9 will feature an open world, a vast amount of characters to play, as well as a story mode that goes through each phase of the character arc upon completing specific tasks. As of now, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have showcased other popular figures that will be playable at launch, which includes Sun Ce, Ma Chao and Jia Chong.

Sun Ce is the oldest son of Sun Jian, and is known as “The Little Conqueror”. Brave, energetic and a strong leader, he viewed all people equally regardless of rank or position. Due to this free-spirited nature that helped shape the Wu Kingdom, many capable men respected him along with his childhood friend, Zhou Yu. Unsurprisingly, Sun Ce enters the ranks of Wu as a playable character in Dynasty Warriors 9.

Ma Chao, the eldest son of Ma Teng, the leader of Xiliang, became a passionate young warrior very quickly. Using honesty and exceptional perception granted him an unmatched talent with his spear. After displaying his skills in countless battles, he earned the nickname “The Glorious Ma Chao”. Ma Chao stands as a playable character on the Shu side in Dynasty Warriors 9.

The last character profile and newest character found in Jin comes Jia Chong. The son of Jia Kui of Wei, he grew to be a noteworthy officer and an influential politician. Sima Yi, after seeing Jia Chong’s skill, placed him as a confidant along with Sima Shi and Sima Zhao.

Dynasty Warriors 9 is set to launch for PS4 in Japan, and for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in the West. No release date has been set for any region. More information on this game can be found over on gamecity.ne.jp.
