Killer Instinct PC Via Steam Version Now Available

Like the 2013 edition of Killer Instinct? Do you want to play it on PC via Steam and not on Xbox One or through the Windows 10 store? There’s good news in that Microsoft Studios and Iron Galaxy’s Killer Instinct is now available to play through Steam.

The older Killer Instinct games hold a spot in many gamers’ heart. The fighting game is known for its Ultra Combos, stage fatalities and so on, as well as Eyedol being a boss that will make you want to throw your controller/keyboard across the room.

As it stands now, the devs behind the latest version of Killer Instinct have brought it to Steam, which its official description lies below:

“The legendary fighting franchise is back with over-the-top action, a wild cast of combatants, rocking reactive music, and C-C-C-COMBO BREAKERS!!! Choose your ultimate combatants each with fluid animations, unique combat tactics, and enthralling special attacks.”

If you don’t know what the game has to offer, Killer Instinct features a list of customization options including Retro Costumes and Accessories. A roster of 20 plus characters, 20 Stages with alternate environments, competitive online matchmaking, online Ranked Leagues, a Story Mode, an extensive Dojo tutorial, and a Shadow Lab that lets you train an AI combatant and challenge your friends to asynchronous matches.

You do know what this means, right? Mods will be coming in for the Steam version that could potentially change the game and tailor Killer Instinct (2013) to your liking. As of now, it will take some time, but I’m sure fighters like Orchid and Sadira will receive special treatment sometime soon.

Killer Instinct is available right now for PC and Xbox One. The game on Steam currently has a 25 percent off deal that drops its price down from $39.99 to $29.99 until October 4th.
