Rugby 18 Set To Release On PS4, Xbox One October 27th

Bigben Interactive and Eko Software announced that Rugby 18 is set to go live for the PlayStation 4, PC and the Xbox One next month starting October 27th. The publisher let loose a new trailer along with some details about the gameplay and modes that will be in this year’s hard-hitting sports outing.

The press release indicates that the game features more than 2,000 real-life players, along with 65 officially licensed teams part of the international Rugby league, which includes Australia, England, France, Scotland, Wales, Italy, South Africa, New Zealand, and Fiji.

Multiple championship opportunities will also be present in the game, ranging from the Top 14, the Pro D2, the Pro14, and the Aviva Premiership Rugby tournament. You’ll be able to play through the 2017 through 2018 season on PC or home console, and you can check out the actual gameplay with the trailer below.

There’s a brief look at the gameplay, the tackling, the kicking, the fumbling, the grabbing, the groping, the touching, the fondling, and all the high-impact homo-eroticism one could possibly get out of a sport where they don’t wear pads but are feeling up on each other more than a grip-grabbing contest between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Donald Trump.

Anyway, if you’re into Rugby it’s probably a game worth keeping an eye on. It’s not running on the Frostbite so you won’t be getting any of those high-end visuals you see in Madden NFL 18 and FIFA 18. It also doesn’t have NaturalMotion or Euphoria at its core, so there’s obviously going to be some lack of animation smoothness compared to some other titles out there.

Nevertheless, if you’re interested in keeping an eye on the game feel free to visit the official Eko System website, or you can simply wait it out for the next month and pick up a digital or physical copy for the Xbox One, PC or PlayStation 4.
