Scorn New Gameplay Trailer Released, Kickstarter Now Live

Scorn is Ebb Software’s upcoming first-person, horror-adventure title that will debut first for PC sometime in 2018, with a second part to follow later. In an attempt to excite gamers, the development team released a new gameplay trailer and Kickstarter to help future endeavors regarding Scorn’s development.

The Belgrade-based development team commonly known as Ebb Software has released a new gameplay trailer for Scorn. You can see inspiration drawn from various works that the team made mention of in the past, which consists of A Serbian Film, H.R. Geiger’s work and even that of Zdzisław Beksiński.

All of the above can be seen somewhat below in the beautiful looking trailer that covers well made animations, solid lighting, weighty weapons and a nice sense of atmosphere design. You can check out the gameplay trailer courtesy of Ebb Software‘s YouTube channel.

Personally, I love the look of flesh and metal fused together. The whole look of distorted and stretched living organisms mixed with machinery reminds me a lot of Tool (the band) music videos, which I would love a new album by those guys. However, it seems that I’m not the only one to admire the solid work put into Scorn by Ebb Software, insofar that the first day of its Kickstarter campaign (now live) has garnered almost 1/4 of its goal.

In addition to the above, the last run on Kickstarter was a failure, but this time around it seems that if the pace continues at its current rate the team should hit its goal within a week. The campaign has 34 days left and is looking to hit $178,597 as of this writing.
