BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Set To Release In 2018

Do you like fighting games? Do you happen to like the BlazBlue series of games, too? If you answered yes to both, Arc System Works is publishing and developing BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, which is set to release across PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch come 2018.

If you happen to be like me and enjoy the craft that is Arc System Works’ graphical effects and character designs, you’ll be in luck that Dragon Ball FighterZ isn’t the only title to rock the team’s smooth cartoon-ish look, but BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will sport similar aesthetics, too.

The upcoming 2018 game will focus on arena style fighting and will feature 2 Vs. 2 battles and tag-ins. Moreover, it will feature characters from other BlazBlue games, as well as character outside of the series. This includes characters from franchises like Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth and RWBY.

If you want a more in-depth look at character entries in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, the dev team behind the game recently announced that Rachel Alucard and Hazama from BlazBlue, and Weiss Schnee from RWBY will be playable characters in the forthcoming title.

Moreover, if you happen to be out of the loop, existing characters that made it in an early announcement comes BlazBlue’s Ragna the Bloodedge and Jin Kisaragi, Persona 4 Arena’s Yu Narukami and Yosuke Hanamura, Under Night In-Birth’s Hyde and Linne, and Ruby Rose from RWBY.

Speaking of older information and missing out on content, an older video trailer by Arcsystemworks‘ YouTube channel titled “Play Movie” lies below for your viewing pleasure.

The newer video showing off character introductions in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle sits right here and can be seen in a near two minute long package.
