Xur’s exotic armor this week is actually decent, we see pieces like the Foetracer Helmet for Hunters, the Insurmountable Skullfort Helmet for Titans, and the Nezarec’s Sin Helmet for Warlocks. Out of them all, the armor pieces that is, you can settle for any of them given that they all boast significant perks depending on your play style and class.
As for the weapon this week, which happens to be the Vigilance Wing, you should pick it up if you haven’t already.
Prices for the armor pieces and weapon can be seen below and call for you to trade in your Legendary Shards to obtain whatever item it is that you are after. The bulleted list is up for your viewing pleasure:
- (Titan Helmet) Insurmountable Skullfort – 23 Legendary Shards
- (Hunter Helmet) Foetracer – 23 Legendary Shards
- (Warlock Helmet) Nezarec’s Sin – 23 Legendary Shards
- (Pulse Rifle) Vigilance Wing – 29 Legendary Shards
TL;DR: Xur is actually good this week, if you happen to have a lot of Legendary Shards don’t hesitate to pick up any of the four items. Unlike his previous inventory in the first game, there are no consumables that act like passive items that increase your chance of obtaining something worthwhile, so you have much less to choose from if you already have above items.
Destiny 2 is currently out for PS4 and Xbox One. Bungie and Activision are set to release a PC version come October 24th.
